Saturday, April 18th, 2009
The KAFI 2009 program, a 4 color, double-sided 18″x24″ map-fold brochure, is finished and off to the printers. When I receive a printed copy of the program, I’ll post a larger version of it on here for you to check out. It feels nice to be wrapping up the design work for the festival because that means it’s right around the corner (May 14-17). It should be another fun festival.

Wellness Works
Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009For the past year, I have been working with Maestro eLearning and Wellness Works to create a flash-based wellness e-learning program. The program, consisting of 10 30-45 minute modules, covers a wide variety of topics ranging from nutrition, exercise, and rest. Wellness Works illustrates through engaging and informative animations how even the smallest changes in lifestyle choices can make a huge impact on your vitality. What makes this program successful is that not only is it informative, but quite entertaining. Concepts that can sometimes be difficult to wrap your head around are presented in fresh ways that are easy to follow and done with casual delivery. For more information about purchasing the course for yourself or your company, please visit either link above. Below are several screenshots from the Wellness Works program. All modules were constructed within Flash using elements from Illustrator and Photoshop.

Raygun Recording Studios logo
Monday, February 2nd, 2009
Recently I finished the identity for Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids, MI-based Raygun Recording Studios. The basic concept, mix recording gear with vintage sci-fi. What came out of it, a chromed-out raygun/microphone sporting a classic raygun fin. The logo was created in Illustrator as a two-color logo to be used on business cards, album artwork, t-shirts, web, etc.
